ژIn the Heritage’s most recent event: “Unleashing Free-Market TV,” our staff attended an important event about  the television industry undergoing massive change. With consumers increasingly replacing or complementing over-the-air television and pay-TV subscriptions with other video platforms. These changes, combined with the Supreme Court’s recent ruling in Aereo, have sparked a broad debate about government regulation of the video marketplace in the 21st Century. Many believe the regulatory framework has simply not kept pace.

The new “easy fix” seems to be a common method in the Middle East and that is to target the growing democracy seeking minority, blame them for the upraises against their government, reduce their rights , make a small change in the government and call it a democratic re-election of the power. People of the Middle East have realized that no one will make any effort to help them unless they up rise against the ruling powers in their countries. As a national effort, they are working day and night, united and put aside their minor differences and hope to change the way their governments run their countries. The growing opposition is constructed from Shiites ( Shias ) Muslims present throughout the middle east, Sunni Muslims, Christian and Jewish democracy seekers. Since Shiites ( shias ) out number the rest of opposition groups, they become the face of the opposition, the moving force, and the first thing that every monarchy does is to affiliate their opposition to a foreign enemy. Shiites are automatically linked to the Iranian government solely because of their common faith!

Iraq, Bahrain and Kuwait are prime examples of countries that the majority of the population is Shiite, and among dozens of other countries, Saudia Arabia, and the Golf countries have growing population of Shiites. Shiite have been independent, and if visits to Iran for religious reasons is the main reason the Monarchy countries link Shiites to Iran, then Saudia Arabia and Iraq should be the first to blame for affiliation to Shiasm or vice versa! Why do countries like Bahrain, and Saudia Arabia link Shiites to Iran, when there are minimal affiliations between people who are followers of Shiite faith and a country that is knows as Islamic Republic and like Bahrain, Iraq, and Kuwait is populated by Shiites?!
Using two words , Shiite and Iran, in one sentence is an easy alliance that is being force fed by the ruling countries in the middle east to destroy the face of Shiite movements in their countries. The Shiites in the middle east have no connection to the government of Iran and by accusing an alliance between Shiites and the government of Iran, The moving force of the opposition, the Shiite of the region are forced to seek aid from the only country that has interests in the area other than west and that is Iran. If the western countries are indirectly planning to destroy such strong faith, Shiasm, they have to realize not only they are empowering presence of Iran in the area, but also they are losing their allies in the Middle East. The day that Shiites in the area seek aid from Iran, and refuge towards Iran, the forces of the Western countries will be in danger, and that is definitely not in West’s best interest.

Presence of Shiites in the region, the Middle East, among dozen other advantages, it reassures a safer place for American troops, and provides a sense of security to our military. In the case that Shiites seek refuge towards Iran, not only we have lost our allies in those countries, now the US and other beneficiary countries in the Middle East have to face presence of Iran and the endless effort of Wahabis to kill our soldiers, destroy our peaceful activities, bomb schools, hospitals, etc. and we, the Unites States and our Western Allies, would not succeed!

Egypt’s recent changes and uprisingshave diversified the country into smaller divisions but each with more defined belief sets, and ideologies. In a country where gray was the main color, now all shades of gray thrive to take part in its ever better future. In order to bring diversity to its new government, It is important to give voice to the voiceless and hear the untold stories.

In an event held by the Atlantic Council’s Egyptsource blog, Staff members of Shirazi Foundation shared   ideas towards growth and an unified Egypt were discussed informally. Stories of what happens on daily bases in Egypt, and the importance of sharing an all-inclusive Egyptian government was thoroughly conversed about.

Hosted by the Middle East program of the Woodrow Wilson Center, in a screening of the documentary “Our Summer in Tehran,” we expressed our deepest appreciations towards the fantastic work filmmaker Justine Shapiro has directed and produced in order to show a closer look at the lifestyle of Iranians, and better explaining the differences between Religious, Nonreligious and the ones in between. As a Non-Governmental Organization which has vast number of constituency in the Republic of Iran, as well as other countries in the Middle East, It is important to set apart the different social classes of a country and shades of Gray in between in order to accommodate all the social needs of a country.

important to be involved first hand among the

experts that study these policies and hear their view of the situation. The fact that this Sunni-Shiite

evidence that the White House’s efforts at creating a regional stability are failing.

to the world leaders and presidents gathering in New York.

Dear Presidents of governments and states,

Imam Shirazi World Foundation greets all of you with the Islamic Greetings:

May Allah’s peace, mercy and blessings

be upon you!

Imam Shirazi World Foundation invites all of you as you are gathering here discussing world issues in the occasion of this global event to this kind of PEACE in a hope that you take this letter into consideration and you thus make your utmost efforts to find effective solutions that would limit the impacts and damages of the current situations highlighted in this letter.

Dear presidents,

For the last two decades, the third world has been suffering from numerous killing crises and catastrophes causing a constant flow of bloodshed in a number of countries.Deadly phenomena have emerged violating all life forms and living kinds with no distinction to what is a human, a plant, or even a stone.Nonehas been spared from the harm of this killing, terrorizing, destroying, and physical and spiritual attrition.Add to this thatall of these phenomena had been already preceded by a number of aggressive international and local wars; and forget not the other kinds of crises that are already challenging these countries. And the countries all across the Middle East in particular have become the spot of human crises and a clear portrait of the worsening human situations on human rights, politics, sociology and economics.

More catastrophic happenings have been also brought with the flood of what is so called the Arab Spring that came as a cry of the region’s nations for freedom from decades of tyranny and dictatorship practiced by the collapsed oppressing systems.

Followed by a mixed of political, religious and sectarian violence causing frustration for the rebelling nations who hoped that they soon would have their own freedom, security and peace; their revolutions were quickly snatched by the bloody, violent and terrorist groups that are BASICALLY backed up by the REMAINING dictatorship systems in the Arab world. These groups along with their supporting systems aim at having control by force and bloodshed in order to fix their dark agendas, hinder all shapes of human freedom and cause unprecedented corruption on earth.

What mostly challenges the third world nations in this phase is having their souls and belongings protectedafter the terrorist groups having controlled all of the countries in the region, forming welcoming hubs and thus being fully capable to violate all what is sacred and forbidden amid the lack of security and the political vacuum.

Dear presidents,

The political, religious and sectarian violence in Iraq, the Middle East, Africa, Pakistan and Afghanistan is seen in total as deterioration at the entire humanity level especially with the atrocity of the massacres and the unlimited genocides happeningin these countries and many others. This should bring your attention as you are discussing the world’s human, political and economical issues at General Council at the United Nations and also let you move immediately according to a plan to limit these current human catastrophes. Being here bearing full responsibilities towards nations, you should be seriously finding a way out and an exist to stop this continuing bloodshed.

Imam Shirazi World Foundation urgently recommends the following in a hope that these recommendations would bring peace to the developing world:

  1. Condemning all of the political, religious and sectarian terrorist violent acts
  2. Finding a way to hinder the transformation and circulation of the bordercrossing weapons to the third world
  3. Placing pressure on the governments that are supporting and financing the extremist armed groups
  4. Stop selling weapons to dictator and tyrannical governments in the region
  5. Bringing to justice the official figures who support violence
  6. Stop the immigration of the European youths toward the conflict zones in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt and Afghanistan.
  7. Finding a peaceful solution to the Syrian conflict and spare Syria from any other war crises.

May Allah grant us success,

Imam Shirazi World Foundation
