HomeAbout the Shirazi Foundation Scholarship Program & Grants

Shirazi Foundation grants increase the breadth and depth of the Institute’s work by supporting peacebuilding projects managed by non-profit organizations including educational institutions, research institutions, Religious Studies Institutions, and  civil society organizations.

In over Fifty  years of grantmaking, the Institute has provided funding to grantees located in over a dozen countries.  Shirazi Foundation sees no boundaries when it comes to facilitating accurate and reliable researches made available for research enthusiasts and education seekers.  Accordingly, the foundation has restructured its grantmaking to fund and support targeted opportunities to advance research and studies in Shia Islamic Studies. The Foundation seeks to increase the diversity of the nation’s college and university faculties by increasing their ethnic and racial diversity, to maximize the educational benefits of diversity, and to increase the number of professors who can and will use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of all students.
