In advancement of International Climate talks, and brainstorming, our exports attend an educational and informative event hosted by the Center for American Progress. A conversation with experts on this field, and discussed variety aspects of International Climate change and roadmaps available ahead. 

 

Throughout the world, security and stability go hand in hand, and one is incomplete without the other, Heritage foundation hosts an informative event about use, implications and danger of Nuclear weapons. Experts like Henry Sokolski, Fred Fleitz, Patrick Clawsondiscussed importance of this powerful weapon, safe uses and danger of misuse of it and put forth ideas and roadmaps which help in prevention of Uranium being wrongfully issued.

 

Seminars and Webinars have become an alternative place for like-minded activists to gather and discuss important topics. In a Webinar hosted by Berghof Foundation, Wednesday the 12th, Shirazi Foundation’s expert in Nonviolence resistance took part in this discussion along with other thinkers and nonviolence enthusiasts.

VéroniqueDudouetmSenior Researcher and Program Director at Berghof Foundation, discussed violence in the countries that have conflicts in ethnic, religious, sectarianand armed insurgency and elaborated in what are the solutions and factors of transition from violence to nonviolent resistance. Ms. Dudouetm offered her researchabout the countries that have conflicts and the talked about places like South Africa, Palestine, Western Sahara, West Papua, Mexico, Colombia, Nepal and Egypt and explained the conflicts on hand.

 

Shirazi Foundation attends an event hosted by the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations, also known as Annual Arab Policymakers conference, in Washington D.C. The event brings together “internationally renowned specialists to analyze, discuss, and debate issues of over-arching importance to the American and Arab people’s needs, concerns, interests, and key foreign policy objectives. ” This year the Event was focused on, “Framing and Charting the Region’s Issues, Challenges and Opportunities: Implications for Arab and U.S. Policies.”

Our expert in Shirazi Foundation ideology met with numerous representatives of likeminded organizations and held constructive one on one meetings with experts, scholars, and policy makers.

Social Services are critical responsibility of every society to prevent people from poverty and provide assistance to get them out of the temprorarly hardship they are going through. Islam sees Social Sevices as an unsepertable part of each society

Shirazi Foundation is a non-governmental organization and has been extensively active in the west as well as the east cooperating with domestic and international organizations that tackle global issues through independent research. The organization and its constituencies in more than a dozen countries implement the lessons learned from our many publications. These lessons and research assist in creating  roadmaps for our  future activities.  More than five think tanks have devoted their staff in research to generate innovative ideas. Education is extremely important in the well-being of society, and in societies in which religion has strong roots.The burden of hard work to move society forward lies particularly on the experts and their experience.  ISF places a high importance in investing in the education of these experts. As a result, our theological schools in more than five countries have educated men and women for over a century.

 

Hundreds of innocent people are being killed every day as a result of suicide bombings, targeted killings etc. resulting in kids becoming orphans and many women becoming widows. Those affected are left without a shelter to live in, clean drinking water, clothing to wear or good food to eat. For the past 50 years, ISF has helped kids find friendly families to live with and assistance in their daily needs, and has also assisted them in  gaining a proper education to succeed in life.

 

In the past , books were the most general means of reaching people.  With the advancement of technology, this is done via the internet and satellites in a matter of minutes and sometimes seconds, reaching many more people.  Shirazi Foundation has been one of the successful religious entities in promoting Shia thoughts and ideologies using the new technology. In its offices located, in different countries around the globe, programs are produced in different languages such as Arabic, Farsi, English, French, Urdu, etc., based on the ideologies driven from Qur’an and writings of Ahlul,bayt.  These programs  are then  broadcasted via Satellite. Those who are interested in our wide audience, use the internet to watch these programs on their computers, TVs, smart phones, etc. Since Shia families are diverse, the foundation has also produced programs in which teaches people about various cultures and  other communities and their basic rights.
