The Shirazi Foundation attended an event hosted by the Stimson Center, titled “ Twitter and Communal Conflict in Middle East.”  where the misuse of Social Media by extremist groups including Salafists was the focus of this informative panel discussion. The Shirazi Foundation sees learning the way technology is used in today’s world as an important step to knowing the essential  role of technology in the near future.
