The next generation of Southeast Asian experts: The Young and the Brave

The Shirazi Foundation attended an event hosted by Brookings Institute titled The next generation of Korea experts:  The young and the brave. Young scholars and practitioners gathered to discuss the different generational attitudes toward Korea policy, presented their perspectives on persistent regional and international policy challenges. Many different concerns were expressed from the young experts such as China and the south sea dispute, fishing vessel  limitations and exclusive economic zones. The panel also offered new strategies and analyses on areas of land that are almost completely surrounded by water, and presented ideas to correct unique issues through different forms of technology.
