The Cost of Wars: Overseas Contingency Operations and Future Defense Spending

The Shirazi foundation attended an event hosted  by the Stimson Center titled, Cost of Wars : Overseas Contingency operations and Future Defense Spending/. A panel of experts addressed matters concerning  budget cuts and how they affect defense spending. Experts also presented research to clarify  who decides what programs are considered an Overseas Contingency Operations expense and how that funding is allocated. The Shirazi Foundation expert on foreign policy  joined the discussion with fellow experts on Overseas Contingency Operations and future defense spending priorities.
