Reform, Resource Governance and Civil Society in Myanmar

The  Shirazi Foundation  attended an event at the Elliott School of International Affairs hosted by PISA’s Climate Initiative, in partnership with ALARM titled  Reform, Resource Governance and Civil Society in Myanmar. An expert panel presented a short documentary and speech on the many facts surrounding environmental issues, the deforestation in Myanmar and the condition it has left the country in. The experts expressed that  there is a growing disharmony amongst actors  while adding the growing tension between civil society. Experts also conveyed that civil society is being pushed away from the current peace process in the country.
