Promoting Religious Freedom In South Asia

The Shirazi Foundation attended and even hosted by The Heritage Foundation titled, Promoting Religious Freedom In South Asia. Throughout the panel discussion experts explained that terrorism affects all religions in Southeast Asia. Experts elaborated that in many parts of SouthEast Asia  the religious laws and system are biased and discriminatory. Members of the panel made recommendations that it would be in the best interest of the region that the next generation does not learn discriminatory views in an attempt to effect tangible change. Some experts suggested that the way forward is to strengthen religious freedoms from an international approach.
