Civil Society and Women’s Rights in Tunisia

In consideration to women empowerment and increasing the involvement of women activists in the Human Rights field, Shirazi Foundation joins other civil society organizations in an event organized by Permanent mission of Tunisia to the United Nations in an event focusing Women’s Rights.

Breakthrough suggestions were brought forth, and constructive steps in the process of empowerment of the civil society and cooperation among religious entities to help gender equality laws surface in the governing laws in countries where rights of women have been limited and/or prohibited.
