America’s War For The Greater Middle East: A Military History
The Shirazi Foundation attended an event hosted by the Cato Institute titled “America’s War For The Greater Middle East: A Military History”. An expert panel and author laid out many Intellectual points concerning Military history and its failures. Many questions were raised throughout the panel discussion such as, has the prospects of the U.S. not engaging in war become a wish just as the war on drugs has become a lifetime task , the war in the middle east has become a staple in the fabric of society in the west. Experts also suggested that it seems that the American public has fallen asleep in terms of staying aware of the four decades of war. Researchers at the Shirazi Foundation engaged in open dialogue with senior fellows of the Cato Institute and members of various organizations on aspects of the Islamic divide in the Middle East from the economic factors to religious differences.
