After Pope Francis’ Visit to the United States – A Panel Discussion US-Italy Global Affairs Forum

The Shirazi Foundation attended an event hosted by the THE US-ITALY GLOBAL AFFAIRS FORUM titled After Pope Francis’ Visit to the United States – A Panel Discussion US-Italy Global Affairs Forum. The panelists discussed a various range of issues form the character of Pope Francis’ agenda and the possible misperceptions of his message,  the panelist also covered the Pope’s aiming to achieve balance while trying to stay out of the culture wars in the United States. Panelist went in depth on the consequences of the Pope’s focus on climate change and possible implications for the Vatican’s financial institutions. Experts also spoke at length about the economic message of the pontiff.
