UN-Side event on Syria

Sponsored by permanent mission of Italy, and Organization No Peace without Justice, Shirazi Foundation’s expert in Post-Conflict reconciliation seeks this opportunity to be present amongst other experts and Human Rights Activists. This event addresses the issues of redress and accountability for violence, abuses and violations of human rights and international law as an essential component of UN-led consultations and discussions, and aims to discuss some of the complex questions that this entails. the meeting also serves as a reminder of the urgent priority of reaching a lasting political solution to the Syrian conflict, through an all inclusive and participatory process capable to ensure redress for all victims, irrespective of their ethnic, religious, and political affiliation.
